Why do you get air bubbles on your nails from the nail polish when it drys?

I have jsut spent he whole evening (yes i didnt have anything better to do) giving myself an imaculate french manicure - leaving the polish to dry for hours in between each coat. Ive now put a second layer of clear polish over the tip and first coat and have noticed that as its dried, my nails have small air bubbles on it! Very frustrating, and i dont know why? though this sounds like such a girly question, i am truly puzzled and am asking seriously lol. pls help :DWhy do you get air bubbles on your nails from the nail polish when it drys?
The polish is too thick. Either you are putting it on too thick, the polish itself is thick, or you shook it too much and it left air bubbles in it.

So just roll it around instead of shaking it, so u dont add bubbles. If its too thick you can add a little bit of either water or nail polish remover (I mean like 2 drops) to thin it out. Anyways, you have the right idea because its better to do 1-3 thin coats than 1 thick one.

I'm guessing the polish is pretty dry by now but if it was still wet you could try blowing it with a hot hair dryer to melt the bubbles out. Since it's already dry, you can TRY using a cotton ball/pad with nail polish remover to lightly remove the topmost coat. But... you may be better off either leaving it or starting over.

Or do what i do - glitter hides all kinds of mistakes :)Why do you get air bubbles on your nails from the nail polish when it drys?
Yeah I get that problem sometimes when the bottle is coming to the end and it's a bit gloopy and it's shaken too much. It looks ok at first and then tiny bubbles appear!

Don't shake too much and if it's too thick, add a bit of nail polish remover to thin it out a bit
