How long does it take your nail polish to dry?

Without getting smeared or chipped? What's the best kind of nail polish to use and do you actually sit for a very long time while they dry with out touching anything? That could actually teach great patients! lolHow long does it take your nail polish to dry?
it takes approximately 30 minutes to dry with no chipping or smearing depending on the the consistancy of the polish. thicker polish takes longer to dry. once they dry a good amount soak them in ice cold water for 29 seconds and it will help the almost dry polish hardenHow long does it take your nail polish to dry?
I think the best nail polish to get is the polish that comes from the nail salon it might be more expensive but it lasts sooo much longer and it gives it a better look than the store bought and the hair supply store (ex. sally's) there nail polish is really good to. And to make the drying go a little bit faster for me I use ONYX Professional it prevents smearing of nail polish %26amp; conditions nails %26amp; cuticles and it drys nails quickly. You can puchase this at wal-mart! ($3.95) Hope I helped!
well theres theese really cool nail polish markers that dry REALLY quickly and are less of a mess

Don't use the spray ';nail drying'; stuff. It makes the surface dry quickly but underneath stays wet and you end up ruining your nails, because it takes longer to dry underneath. My fav is OPI - it lasts a long time and they have really cool names
That's a great thought! So girls who sit around for an hour or more waiting for their nail polish to dry are actually images of PATIENCE rather than INDOLENCE. That's gonna radically change my view of the girls at my apartment complex who lounge at the poolside doing their toenails.... XD
Well, you could get the GEL topping and you would need a ';sunlamp'; to make it dry, but it only takes maybe 5 minutes %26amp; is well worth it! Your nailpolish then stays chip free for at least 2 weeks %26amp; looks like a glass coat! Better than glossy! gl!
It's going to take at least a half hour to be completely free from smudging. Sometimes you can speed up the drying process by sticking your fingers in cold water. i know it sounds crazy but it works.
A little mineral oil will help them dry faster or you can dip them in some ice water.
I hate sitting still. It takes about 15 minutes for an average nail polish unless u spend lots of money on a higher brand just to have it dry faster.
I have this really cool salon stuff that you spray on your nails and its dry in like a minute! Its called Demert Nail Enamel Dryer. :)
30 minuets, sometimes less if you get a nail dryer 5 minuets. If you don't have one and don't want ot wait put them in cold water=)
It really depends on which kind of nail polish your using. It can range from 10-15 minutes to an hour - 1/2 hour
I use Sally Hansen's No Chip 10-day nail color and it's great. It dries in less than a minute and lasts a long time.
depending on the humidity and the altitude about 32- 47 min.
I usually use Loreal or mayballine. It dries in not more than 1 min. And yes i cant touch anything to my nails meanwhile.
it usually takes only 10 minutes to dry. after its dry then use a clear top coat then it lasts longer
I always like to give it a good 10mins to make sure.
Like at least five minutes, i use OPI.
