I heard a long time ago that if your nail polish starts to thicken up, that you can add something to it to thin it back out a bit. The problem is i forgot what it was that i can use. What can i add to nail polish to thin it up?
Fairy liquid, or a tiny bit of nail varnish removerWhat can i add to nail polish to thin it up?
Nail polish remover with acetone or pure acetone (which is often found in the nail polish aisle as well).
finger nail polish remover that contains acetone
Nail polish remover
nail polish remover can work but most formulations can dry them out easily. there is a product called nail polish solvent. that is similar to the nail polish remover but a bit gentler. this way it will have less chances of drying out. OPI, ORLY or Essie might have these or check out your local Sephora or beauty supply store.
i heard that acetone/ nailpolish works well
but don try water it just makes it thicker...
been there
hehehe
Use just a few drops of nail polish remover, if its still too thick add a couple more. If you just try pouring it in it you will either end up with a mess or add in too much and then the polish gets all runny. Been there, done that!
acetone or thinners work well. ive used both before. xx
