Use fingernail clippers and cut the very tips of each nail. It does not hurt them at all.My box turtle has very long nails is it to cut them with nail clippers or a dog clippers?
No. If you are really worried about the length of the nails (I wouldn't be) let it run around on a hard surface to wear them down.
