What does it mean when nail polish gets all liquidy?

My nail polish I've had for a little while now is getting very liquidy at the top... it's a little bit darker and not as thick. it's very liquidy and loose. I've only had it for maybe half a year. Does anyone know what that means? It's not getting bad is it?

Can nail polish get bad? Sorry if this sounds stupid, I was just wondering. What does it mean when nail polish gets all liquidy?
That's what happens when nail polish sits for a while, you just need to shake it and get a toothpick and stir it. it will regain its normal consistency. What does it mean when nail polish gets all liquidy?
give it a really good shake that doesn't work a little nail varnish remover shake again still not working you'll probably have to bin it if its quite cheap then it proably has gone off
of course all nail polishes get bad! try shaking the bottle is might get better or just get new nail polish!
Shake it.

It's just seperating.
