Is it okay to substitute regular nail polish with acrylic paints?

Is it alright for the nails to do that as long as a base coat is first applied?

Acrylic paint will not work on fingernails or toenails. No matter if you use a base coat, top coat or a billion coats. Acrylics paints are basically pliable plastics. It will just peel off. Nail polish is enamel based. Ya 'know like model airplane/car paint. Testors is the brand name. They come in little bottles. BUT I don't think use should use that on your nails either!!! Seriously, what's the problem with just using nail polish? That's what it's made for!
