I just wanna have a basic idea of how fast it can fully rust. I appreciate if you give a substantial answer :)How long does it take for an iron nail submerged into water to fully rust?
Iron, submerged in water will corrode but not necessarily RUST as rusting can only occur when in contact with the air,(oxygen).Rusting is ... oxidization. therefore it would depend on how deep the nail was or much the water was moved ....creating oxygen.
