Perhaps the nail polish remover you used was Acetone-free, it's kinder to your nails.

Try straight Acetone - you can buy it in a DIY shop, I used it to get permanent marker off a painting and it worked. BUT it will probably bleach the jeans a bit.

Hope this helps. How can you get red nail polish off jeans. I've already tried nail polish remover, and it doesnt work?
hon it doesnt come out im sorry happend to me and i had it for 3 years and it wont come out so you should just get another pair
I've done that before, and couldn't get it out, so I had to throw out the jeans.

But I was just reading this thing, it says that a product called Krud Kutter will take out nail polish, and it's fabric safe, so it's probably a better choice than nail polish remover. I'm not sure where to buy it, try their website www.krudkutter.com.
Apply the nail polish remover to the stain and then lightly blot the stain. Apply detergent and warm water to make sure that you have removed the stain completely and then wash as usual with your detergent. You may have to apply the nail polish remover and blot several times to remove all of the nail polish stain. Do not give up!

Another treatment option in using the nail polish remover is to stretch the item of clothing over a bowl and affix it using a rubber band. Apply the nail polish remover using a stainless steel spoon, while letting it drip through the stain into the bowl. This may take a while, but it will be worth it if you have stained your favorite shirt, now won鈥檛 it?

It is very important to test the nail polish remover in an inconspicuous area of your clothing, furniture, or carpet to make sure that the item is colorfast.

Hydrogen Peroxide-Another Way to Treat A Nail Polish Stain

If the stain remains after you have tried using nail polish remover, then you may want to try a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. Use a 50-50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water and apply it to the stain. Let the fabric sit in the sun for a few hours for maximum effectiveness and keep it moistened with the hydrogen peroxide and water mixture.

This method should be used only on white clothes or colorfast clothes. Always test in an inconspicuous area to make sure it will not harm your fabric
